Twisted Trails, located in Wilmington Ohio, has made the decision to cancel their 2020 season in light of the continued Covid-19 pandemic. The announcement was made this afternoon on the haunt's facebook page.
Hello Haunters, from everyone at Twisted Trails we would like to thank you all for making our first year such a memorable one! We have been closely monitoring all recommendations from Gov. DeWine, The Ohio Health Department, and other governing officials regarding operating during the COVID-19 pandemic. In order to best protect the health of our staff, volunteers and guests, we have decided to cancel our 2020 haunt. Stay safe and we look forward to scaring you in the future!
Twisted Trails won Haunted House Tour's 2019 award for Best Outdoor Haunt.
It's with sad feeling today that we learned Asylum Scream Park has announced it is closing permanently.
The Asylum Haunted Scream Park is closing for good, and there’s nothing we can do to change that. It was not due to the CoronaVirus, but rather was a business decision.
Asylum featured one of the Tri-State's best outdoor haunted trails as well as memorable interactive, plot-driven haunt experience called Zombie City - unlike anything else we've encountered on our countless haunt visits.
The head creative mind and founder of Asylum, Richard Teachout, will still have involvement with the area's new haunt - American Horrorplex.
We appreciate all of our supporters over the last 10 years. You are the reason we did all of this. We built our own world (one we liked better than the real one sometimes), and we hope our crazy minds have at least provided you some entertainment over the years as we welcomed you into that World. It may evolve into something new in the future, and the creative minds of the Asylum Haunted Scream Park are still involved with another amazing Haunted House (The American Horrorplex [Link]) so you can still check it out this 2020 Season.
Alex Vincent, best known as Andy from Child's Play will be at Haunted Orchards opening weekend. Wanna play?
Tonight we stopped by The Dent Schoolhouse for their first-ever Christmas haunt, A Christmas Nightmare. This two night event transforms this iconic haunt into a demented winter wonderland complete with festive lights, Christmas trees and more Santa hats than you can count. Naturally, Krampus is lurking about along with many other ghouls within.
If you're withing traveling distance of Cincinnati, it's not too late! A Christmas Nightmare will be running Saturday, December 8th from 6pm - 12am.
We're overloaded writing reviews - 5 just in the past week! We'll have them posted for Culbertson Mansion, Asylum Haunted Scream Park, The Devil's Attic, Haunted Hotel and USS Nightmare very soon.
We're also headed to Indianapolis this weekend to see Fright Manor back at their original location as well as first-time visits to Nightmare on Edgewood and 13th Hour.
It's been a fantastic season and we're not quite done yet!
