Louisville's Asylum Scream Park closes

It's with sad feeling today that we learned Asylum Scream Park has announced it is closing permanently.
The Asylum Haunted Scream Park is closing for good, and there’s nothing we can do to change that. It was not due to the CoronaVirus, but rather was a business decision.
Asylum featured one of the Tri-State's best outdoor haunted trails as well as memorable interactive, plot-driven haunt experience called Zombie City - unlike anything else we've encountered on our countless haunt visits.

The head creative mind and founder of Asylum, Richard Teachout, will still have involvement with the area's new haunt - American Horrorplex.
We appreciate all of our supporters over the last 10 years. You are the reason we did all of this. We built our own world (one we liked better than the real one sometimes), and we hope our crazy minds have at least provided you some entertainment over the years as we welcomed you into that World. It may evolve into something new in the future, and the creative minds of the Asylum Haunted Scream Park are still involved with another amazing Haunted House (The American Horrorplex [Link]) so you can still check it out this 2020 Season.
Unfortunately due to time constraints, we were unable to visit Asylum last year. Click Here to read our 2018 review.

A 2013 documentary titled "Monsters Wanted" chronicle's Asylum's founder and team behind the scenes in the haunt industry.

The Midnight Library Podcast

Teresa here - So, I just wanted to share this new-ish (2 seasons so far) podcast I've been listening to. It's called The Midnight Library. Imagine visiting the library of one of the Addams Family cousins and you've pretty much got it. The episodes are fairly short, the hosts are quite charming, and each one deals with a uniquely fun and creepy topic. I absolutely love it and I think some of you looking for some creative inspiration might enjoy listening too.
