Donna -  Cedar point overall is a fun place to go to get your Halloween on. The park is decorated nicely from one end to the other the scare zones are Erie and foggy at night and the actors are fine and enthusiastic. If you go there I recommend staying at the hotel Breakers  on the property as it is decorated in Halloween style as well plus it makes it easy to go back-and-forth to the park.  My only criticism was they are no longer giving media passes which meant standing in line for an hour to an hour and a half to go through each haunt and  eliminates being able to review every haunt in the park. Even with a two night stay we could only get into for haunts. 

Hexed

Donna -  Hexed had a witching theme that was carried out very well through the entire haunt. I felt many places in the haunt lacked potential scares may be due to the fact that they seemed to be understaffed .  The actors that were there did a good job for the most part but I felt that many of the visuals were lacking and this could be a much better haunt with more actors and a little more creativity. 

Fearground Freakshow

Donna -  This haunt was my least favorite at cedar point mainly because it was too well lit for scares also the theme of the haunt being a freak show was not very well conveyed through the length of the haunt.  Also several of the actors seem like they didn't know what to do or what they were doing there. This haunted could be a lot better with some more work and a little better lighting. 


Zombie High School

Donna -  This was a cute idea having a high school full of zombies however the zombies did not come across as being threatening or scary just kids having fun. Maybe that was the idea.   The different school rooms were fun and well done with even a lunch room, a music room, and a sports room where you had to wade through hanging jock straps. It was a fun haunt but not particularly scary. 


G.A. Boeckling's Eerie Estate

Donna -  This was my favorite haunt of the night! This is old school haunted house at its best. Very well done the rooms had many details everywhere you looked adding to the overall ambiance of the scene.  The lighting was eerily dark with just enough to make out the details and actors but not enough to ruin the dark claustrophobic feeling of being in a real haunted house.  There were many jump scares but even when you are just walking through a room you have the feeling of someone watching you. This was well done I wish Cedar point would put more haunts in the Halloweekends of this caliber.
