Tell us a little about yourself - anything you'd like to share.
I have acted for 2 years. Year one was at USS Nightmare. Then the pandemic hit and they closed so I wanted to continue my haunt and I went to Dent for year 2. Came out of that season with one external award and one internal award. Really though, I love haunting! What drew you to the haunt industry? When I was 2 my mom took me through haunts and people gave her looks like who would bring a toddler to a haunt. Meanwhile I would just look at the monsters and start clapping and smiling. I guess it is in my blood. How long have you been scaring people? 2 years. Going on 3 next year. If you could be in any horror movie, which one would it be? Texas Chainsaw Massacre or Silence of the Lambs. |
What horror character inspires you the most?
My dad was old school movies. I have a lot of inspiration from Frankenstein. The Mummy, Werewolf, Creature from the Black Lagoon. Those old times classics.
What's the scariest movie you've ever seen?
Scariest? That's hard to say. Probably the original It movie. I accidently watched it at like 3 years old or something so just the timing and perspective made it terrifying.
What's your most memorable moment at a haunt?
I have so many. I legitimately sent someone to the hospital on accident because they ran so fast they slipped and fell. Made someone visibly wet their pants. The one that tops it all is when I grabbed a bug off of a light, like a big bug. I walked over towards someone and they go aww a flower is that for me? I just shake my head and slowly hand it to them. They grab it and start going aw thank... and then scream in bloody horror as they really just picked up a massive bug from my hand.
Do you like scaring people more, or do you think it's more fun to be scared?
I honestly probably enjoy being scared more, but I am very desensitized to being scared to the point that when it does happen I am in ecstatic joy because it happened. That's what inspired me. I wanted to be the actor who could scare people like me and that's my drive.
What do you do during the other seasons?
I'm a business intelligence analyst. I play with data and use it to make decision for my company.
What's your favorite way to spend Halloween?
Murder mystery dinner is something I've started to host each year around Halloween whenever it doesn't interfere with the haunt schedule.
Who are your heroes in the haunt industry?
All of the veteran actors that have been in the industry long enough (5+ years) to give lots of great advice and be a haunt leader.
If you could tell everyone coming through your haunt one thing, what would it be?
You might think I was dangerously close to getting you in the head with the wrench, but it is a mastered art.
What scares you the most?
Death.
