![]() The adaptation of Stephen King's short story "Jerusalem's Lot" (published in the book "Night Shift") will be titled "Chapelwaite." Per Deadline - Set in the 1850s, the series follows Captain Charles Boone (Brody), who relocates his family of three children to his ancestral home in the small, seemingly sleepy town of Preacher’s Corners, Maine after his wife dies at sea. However, Charles will soon have to confront the secrets of his family’s sordid history, and fight to end the darkness that has plagued the Boones for generations. It has also been revealed that Emily Hampshire (Schitt's Creek) has been cast as a writer who will, in an unspecified way, become entwined with the main character, Charles Boone, played by Adrian Brody. No other casting has been revealed at this time. With the success of the "It" remake, good impressions of "The Outsider" on HBO and even the less-advertised, appreciation for "Doctor Sleep," all eyes will be trained on the development of this series.
