This haunt drops you into a trip to another world thats even worse than your darkest day, then slams every school nightmare youve ever had into overdrive. The whole thing sits in what is hands-down the most authentic atmosphere aroundso the dread doesnt feel staged, it feels like you actually wandered into the wrong building...and now youre stuck.

Actors are on point
Engaging dialogue, they even sing (yes, including a boiler song), and they come from anywhere and everywhere. Jump scares are constant.

Ridiculous attention to detail
Timing, lighting, sets, acting, music, sound, special effects, and a real mix of scare styles.

The basement remodel
More twists and turns, more claustrophobic, more catacomb-like. It somehow feels bigger and longer.
More notes
- Outdoor/garden area is noticeably improved.
- Specific scenes that stuck: werewolves having their way, a fog of bubbles you can’t turn back from, a Satanic church full of his lies, and a brain that talks back.
- Mr. Shady is in the mix this year, but it’s subtle — not shoved in your face.
- Monster Midway added new attractions including a talking brain. Photo ops are everywhere, and the merch/souvenir/collectible game is some of the best you’ll see at a haunt.
- The whole place just feels like Halloween. Queue actors, heavy decor, and a waiting area detailed enough that it plays like a dark carnival you’d actually want to hang out in.
